On today’s blog, we want to provide you with further detailed information on the care of some of our products.  We do send a care card with each purchase, but sometimes extra information can be helpful. For our shirts, it is best to wash in cold water and either air dry or dry on low to no heat. Washing in cold water is the best way to clean our shirts.  If you have a setting to sanitize your wash, it is not recommended to use that setting with any shirt that has a vinyl design as the design can heat up and stick to itself thereby destroying the design. It is recommended to only iron the fabric and not the design if ironing is needed. By adhering to these precautions, you will maintain an image that will last years without wrinkling or fading.  One other thing to remember is to never use bleach or bleach type products with these shirts as this can damage the shirt and the image. If you fold your shirts for storage, do not fold the image while warm as this will crease the image.  Any heat can reactivate the chemicals that attach the image to the shirt.

Tumbler care is important to keep your drinkware bright and scratch free.  The tumblers can be washed in the dishwasher if they are placed in the top tray. However, we suggest hand washing as the best way to keep these lovely items clean. With handwashing do no use abrasive soaps or sponges as this may scratch the surface of the tumbler which will harm the image. As with the shirt images, the tumbler images are also sensitive to heat on the outside of the container.  The tumblers are made to hold cold and hot liquids on the inside with any issue to the design.

We also have car coasters which will need similar handwashing care as the tumblers. Since liquids spill on car coasters on occasion they will need to be cleaned with soft cloth and gentle cleanser.  Our photo slates would probably only require dusting with a soft hand cloth would be best to use. If the slate needs washing, the same care as the coasters need to be implemented. 

Our cutting boards are hand wash only with the front being the only part that can be cleaned with a scrubber.  The back is where the image is sublimated onto the board and requires a soft sponge and no abrasive cleaners.
